World Classroom Field Trip for 9th - 10th Graders to New York City (Repeat)
Current 9-10th Graders and Parents who are interested in a School Trip to New York City during the Summer of 2024 can register now.
This trip will allow our future Juniors & Seniors (current 9th - 10th graders) & PARENTS a once in a lifetime experience for 4 days. Check out the tentative schedule here.

FFA Corn Drive - Thursday, October 13th (Repeat)
Ms. Anderson, FFA Advisor and Ag Teacher, has been busy planning the FFA Corn Drive which will be on Thursday, October 13th during the school day. FFA Members who have passing grades (C or better) and no missing assignments will be invited to participate. FFA members will be out in our school community collecting corn, monetary gifts and also providing our farmers with a FREE grilled lunch at New Vision. FLU Clinic at HBC on Wednesday, October 12th (Repeat)
We are very pleased to announce that Sanford Luverne Clinic, your school district, and the Luverne Area Community Foundation will be offering flu vaccines to all children enrolled in grades K-12.
We will bill your insurance for the flu vaccine if you have coverage. However, through collaboration with the Luverne Area Community Foundation, all out-of-pocket and non-insured costs will be covered for school-aged children.
The in-school flu shot clinic will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
To receive the flu shot, the attached consent forms must be completed and returned to the school by Monday, October 10, 2022. LINK

Back to school JMC Online Registration--Thanks to all the parents and families that completed their student online registration through JMC. It is an easy way for the school to collect the necessary information for school enrollment. If you have not yet completed registration for your student please do so as soon as possible. Log into www.hbc.onlinejmc.com. If you receive a message from the school stating all or a portion of your students registration is incomplete, please act promptly! Call the office with questions 507-673-2541.

Lunch News - SECOND ENTREE PURCHASE: New This Year: Students in grades 6-12 may purchase a second entree with their meal. The entree is $2.00. Students with a free or reduced meal benefits must pay the $2.00 out of pocket. Students must sign up on the cafeteria door before 2nd Period.
